Saraki's Security Aides Reportedly Attack Journalist in Abuja High Court - Photos

Saraki's security aides have been accused of assaulting journalists who probably attempted to take interviews from the former governor of Kwara state and also take pictures to complement reports.

Sahara Reporters reveal the security aides attached to the embattled Senate President, Bukola Saraki attacked some journalists at the Federal High Court in Abuja in the course of the performance of their journalistic duties.

The details surrounding the physical assault as well as individuals involved are still sketchy. Saraki alongside his Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu of the People's Democratic Party have been charged to court over a protracted case of the forgery of the senate standing rules to facilitate the emergence of both of the principal officers on illegal grounds.

Saraki is currently in court to face trial over a grave offence that could strip him of his public position and attract a lengthy jail term if found guilty.
